Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) announced on Saturday that it carried out two military operations using a large number of ballistic and winged missiles and drones, targeting the Saudi capital Riyadh and the city of Yanbu. The military spokesman for the
movement, Yahya Saree, elaborated on the details of these two "qualitative" operations in a statement. Saree stated that the first operation targeted "sensitive sites" in Riyadh, while the second struck the Aramco company in Yanbu. He affirmed the success of both
operations, noting that they led to "massive fires in the targeted locations." Saree declared that these operations came in response to the continued "aggressive air raids" launched by Saudi forces against Yemen. He indicated that these raids, conducted by F15 and
Typhoon aircraft taking off from Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases, have reached 732 strikes to date, causing "martyrs and injuries among civilians and destruction to civilian infrastructure." He added that the operations also fall within the framework of responding to
"Saudi attempts to target the capital Sana'a with terrorist methods through bombings aimed indiscriminately at civilians." Regarding claims of targeting civilians circulated by Saudi media, Saree stated that they are "baseless," and if such incidents occurred, they are "the result of
failed interceptions by Saudi air defenses." He affirmed that "the Yemeni Armed Forces" are continuing to "impose the equation of siege for siege and escalation for escalation, and to target Saudi military gatherings until the aggression ceases and the blockade
on our country ends."
