The official spokesperson for the Iraqi government, Haider Al-Aboudi, affirmed that September 30th represents a pivotal sovereign entitlement, laying the groundwork for transforming Iraq's relationship with the International Coalition countries into bilateral partnerships based on mutual respect for sovereignty and

the achievement of common interests. Al-Aboudi clarified that the government is proceeding with the completion of the International Coalition's military mission, in accordance with the agreed-upon timelines and mechanisms, emphasizing that this date marks a fundamental step towards consolidating the

state's full authority and unifying security decisions within the country. In a statement issued by the official agency, Al-Aboudi explained that September 30th is considered a sovereign entitlement for Iraq, based on official understandings and commitments, and the government is adopting

a clear path and approach to complete it in terms of procedures and mechanisms. The government views this date as a steadfast national issue that paves the way for transforming the relationship with International Coalition countries into bilateral relations built

on respecting Iraq's sovereignty and realizing mutual interests. The spokesperson added that Iraq possesses, in this matter, its constitutional, political, and diplomatic tools, in addition to its capacity to manage its national security through its institutions and armed forces. He stressed

that the government is continuing to complete the termination of the coalition's military mission within the agreed-upon timelines and mechanisms, affirming that no changes will occur to this course except by the will of the Iraqi state. He pointed out that

the Prime Minister, since assuming his responsibilities, has placed the sovereignty of the Iraqi state at the forefront of his executive agenda, adopting Sovereignty Day as a declaration of Iraq's entry into a new phase characterized by the state's sovereignty

and full authority over its territories, where security decisions are unified, and instruments of power are confined to constitutional and legal institutions. Thus, September 30th represents a national day embodying the achievement of sovereignty as a right for the state

and all Iraqis. Al-Aboudi concluded by asserting that, based on the close link between sovereignty, stability, and trust in state institutions, the Iraqi government is working to solidify these pillars to establish a secure investment environment and enhance Iraq's ability to

attract companies and capital, fostering balanced and productive partnerships that align with the state's priorities and its supreme national interests.
