The Iraqi government has denied rumors suggesting plans to borrow 16 trillion dinars from several countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, Germany, and France to cover the budget deficit. Government spokesperson Haider Al-Aboudi clarified in an official statement that such
reports are inaccurate, emphasizing that there is no need for such borrowing given the positive indicators of oil exports. He added that the government follows a precise economic policy focused on effectively utilizing Iraq's revenues to support public spending and
meet the state's financial requirements. He also pointed out that the increased oil export ceiling has contributed to boosting financial resources. Al-Aboudi affirmed the government's commitment to continuing its economic strategy aimed at maximizing available financial resources to ensure support
for spending and fulfillment of the state's financial needs.
