Executive authorities are continuing intensive efforts today, Wednesday, to address the noticeable slowdown in buying and selling movements, in addition to finding effective mechanisms to stimulate general economic activity. Data confirmed that current challenges are not limited to the domestic
arena alone, but extend to include most countries in the region as a result of ongoing regional tensions and the repercussions of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, with serious endeavors to overcome internal obstacles, support trade and production,
facilitate project financing mechanisms, and back the private sector. In a related context, raising ideas related to changing the local currency or deleting zeros from it does not necessarily reflect a tendency towards approving them or starting their implementation directly,
as these proposals are still confined to the framework of initial discussions devoid of any decisive official decisions. It was emphasized that restoring confidence and market stability requires providing accurate data and taking parallel practical steps, alongside joint efforts between
government agencies, financial institutions, and private activities to mitigate crises and revitalize the economic cycle, amid calls directed to everyone to deal calmly with media circulation and rely exclusively on statements issued by official authorities.
