A giant oil tanker, affiliated with the National Iranian Tanker Company, was observed yesterday loading approximately two million barrels of crude at the Azarbad berth on Kharg Island. This operation marks the first of its kind to be detected at
the island since the end of last July. Iran has continued loading tankers from other ports during this period. Estimates suggest that Iranian oil production currently aligns with the level of domestic refinery consumption, indicating that Tehran may not need
to export large quantities of crude at the present time.
