Iraq’s oil exports to the United States declined over the past week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a drop in total US imports.
Imports from seven countries averaged 5.622 million barrels per day.
This was down by 218,000 barrels per day from the previous week.
Iraq exported 120,000 barrels per day.
Compared to 140,000 barrels per day the week before.
Canada remained the top supplier to the US.
It was followed by Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
Mexico also ranked among key suppliers.
The list included Brazil and Libya.
No exports came from Nigeria, Colombia, and Ecuador.
The US remains the world’s largest oil consumer at about 20 million barrels daily.
