Turkish security authorities detained 51 individuals suspected of links to the ISIS terrorist group during coordinated, simultaneous raids conducted across 16 provinces nationwide. These field measures were supervised by public prosecutor offices in direct coordination with the Counter-Terrorism Department under
the General Gendarmerie Command, executed by provincial gendarmerie forces. The coordinated interventions spanned Adana, Adiyaman, Balikesir, Bursa, Diyarbakir, Duzce, Edirne, Gaziantep, Igdir, Kayseri, Mardin, Mersin, Nevsehir, Sinop, Sanliurfa, and Zonguldak. The Ministry of Interior detailed that the apprehended individuals were
active members; several provided financial facilitation via networks connected to so-called relief entities, while others engaged in disseminating extremist propaganda across digital social platforms. The ministry affirmed that enforcement operations dismantling organizational activities and illicit financing channels will remain ongoing.
The official release did not provide details regarding nationalities or operational roles, nor did it report seizures of arms, explosives, or cash during arrests. The sweep follows the detention of 83 suspects across 28 provinces on September 25 alongside confiscated
documents and storage media, preceded by the apprehension of six suspects in Istanbul on September 29 for terror financing, where 13,000 dollars and digital equipment were seized via financial intelligence tracking.
