U.S. President Donald Trump floated the idea of renaming the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean after himself or calling it the Ocean of the Americas. According to the Washington Post, the remarks came during a campaign rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, ahead
of the midterm elections scheduled for November 3. Trump addressed the gathering amid laughter and applause, saying: "We need a river. We need an ocean," suggesting a new name and adding: "Call it the Trump Ocean or Ocean of the
Americas, something like that."
