The local markets of the capital, Baghdad, witnessed a rise in the price levels of both Iraqi and foreign gold on Wednesday morning. According to data from the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Street, the selling price of one mithqal of
21-karat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold reached 930,000 dinars, while the buying price settled at 926,000 dinars, registering an increase compared to Tuesday when the selling price was 915,000 dinars. Meanwhile, the selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat Iraqi
gold reached 900,000 dinars, while the buying price stood at 896,000 dinars. In retail jewelry shops, the selling price of a mithqal of 21-karat Gulf gold ranged between 930,000 and 940,000 dinars, while Iraqi gold ranged between 900,000 and 910,000
dinars.
