An advisor to the Iranian Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued a warning today, Friday, asserting that if Tehran is prevented from operating flights and accessing airport services, then no other entity in the region will be able to do so. In this
context, Mohammad Mokhber stated in a post on the "X" platform that "alignment with the United States in implementing hostile policies will remain etched in the memory of the Iranian people." He underscored that his country's strategy on this file
is explicit: "either freedom of aviation in the region is available to all, or it is available to none." Mokhber further added: "Should Iran be denied the right to fly and utilize airport services, no other nation in the region
will possess this right." This cautionary statement follows the decision by several countries, including Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, to suspend Iranian flights to and from their territories. Meanwhile, certain smaller Iranian airlines persist in operating international routes, notably to
China, which has defied US pressure, and also to Armenia.
