The member of the Expediency Discernment Council in Iran, Mohsen Rezai, mocked the method practiced by US President Donald Trump in an attempt to influence the Iranian decision in the negotiations.
He wrote on his "X" platform account: "He sets a deadline for a military attack and then cancels it himself, in a false hope that the Iranian people and their officials will surrender."
He stressed that "the firm grip of the armed forces and the great Iranian people will force them to retreat and surrender."
