Iran's Civil Aviation Organization announced on Friday the suspension of the offering and sale of flight tickets to Iraq until further notice. This decision follows previous suspensions by major Iraqi airports, including Najaf, Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, and Baghdad, of Iranian airline
flights, in compliance with American sanctions. Several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, had also suspended Iranian flights to and from their territories. Conversely, smaller Iranian airlines continue to operate flights abroad, particularly to China, which resisted U.S. pressure, and
to Armenia.
