Iraqi crude oil prices fell by more than 6% on Wednesday, influenced by a decline in global oil prices. Basra Heavy crude was priced at $77.92 per barrel, down $5.27 or 6.34%. Basra Medium crude also dropped to $81.22 per
barrel, decreasing by the same amount of $5.27 or 6.09%. Internationally, Brent crude fell to $86.39 per barrel, down $2.19 or 2.47%. West Texas Intermediate crude declined to $80.40, dropping $1.96 or 2.38%. The downward trend affected several major crude types,
with Murban crude falling to $93.44, a decline of 7.89%. Dubai crude decreased slightly by 0.19% to $90.10, while Oman crude stood at $95.59, down $3.82. Data indicates that the drop in Iraqi crude prices is part of a broader global
oil price decline, with noticeable variations in price movements across different crude types and delivery regions.
