Statistics from Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism showed that Iraq led Arab countries in tourist arrivals during February 2026.
Iraq recorded 67,592 visitors, clearly ahead of other Arab nations.
Algeria followed with 20,413 tourists, Saudi Arabia with 20,043, and Egypt with 14,365. Lebanon recorded 13,633 visitors, Libya 11,488, Morocco 11,333, and Jordan 10,092.
Tunisia had 9,205 tourists, while Kuwait recorded the lowest number at 4,245.
This reflects strong Iraqi demand for travel to Turkey in recent months.
