The Presidency of the Kurdistan Parliament's Diwan denied today, Tuesday, any connection to a statement published on the parliament's official website calling on members to hold a session, stressing that no individual or entity was authorized to issue this statement.
Nerdalan Muhammad Sarsabi, head of the Kurdistan Parliament's Diwan, clarified that the statement issued in the name of the Diwan's presidency and published on the official website has no relation to them, and no party was delegated to release it.
He pointed out that the legal quorum for holding a parliamentary session, which is 51 members, has not yet been officially met, with only 43 members officially reported to the Diwan. He confirmed the Diwan's continued regular official work, noting
that the presidency will be present in the parliament hall once the legal quorum is completed.
