The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, extended his congratulations to the leadership and members of the regional parliament on the occasion of its sixth session, praising the parliament's reactivation as a firm commitment to the democratic path.
In a statement, Barzani sent his highest congratulations to the newly elected Speaker of the Parliament, as well as to her deputy and the parliament secretary. He also commended the patriotic members of parliament who demonstrated courage and determination in
defending legitimacy and reactivating the parliament's work, expressing appreciation for their efforts. He pointed out that this decision represents loyalty to the blood of martyrs and the will of the voters, embodying a victory for the will of the Kurdish
people, affirming that the parliament's reactivation reflects a serious commitment to advancing the democratic process. He expressed hope that all parliament members will participate in upcoming sessions to fulfill their national, legal, and ethical duties, and to meet the trust
placed in them by their constituents. He concluded by calling on all parties to take initiative and work for the supreme national interest, aiming to provide services worthy of the people and to protect constitutional achievements.
