Kuwait's Interior Minister, Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, announced the Abdali border crossing will reopen for passenger and commercial traffic within the next 48 hours. Al-Sabah's statement came after his arrival at the Iraqi Safwan border crossing and a meeting with
the Basra Governor. The crossing had previously been targeted by drones, leading to its closure and the suspension of all movement.
