Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated on Wednesday that there are currently no plans underway to hold new contacts within the framework of the trilateral coordination format involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine. Ryabkov explained that discussions had
taken place within this format in the past, but Kyiv halted them, believing that those who drive and support it would guarantee the continuation of the path it desires, which has actually transformed into an escalation of terrorist and criminal
activities in its policies. He noted that there are currently no plans for contacts in this format, adding that whatever happens next is not in Russian hands. He reiterated that the leadership has repeatedly emphasized openness to such engagements. Ryabkov
further pointed out that communication between Russia and the United States regarding Ukraine has not stopped, clarifying that there was no pause. He recalled that on September 23, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with US counterpart Marco Rubio, with
special emphasis placed on resolving the Ukrainian crisis. Regarding the pivotal role of the United States in influencing Kyiv, Ryabkov affirmed that Washington's central influence on both Kyiv and the Europeans is entirely clear to Moscow. Answering a journalist's question
regarding his preferred candidate in the Brazilian presidential election, he stated that Russia respects the choice of the Brazilian people and seeks to develop comprehensive, deep, and mutually beneficial relations with this pivotal nation, just as it has in recent
years.
