The parliamentary Finance Committee announced on Sunday the Minister of Finance's approval for including the contract stabilization file in the upcoming federal budget, with necessary financial allocations. MP Mohammed Hussein Abu Al-Iss, citing the official newspaper, stated that "the contract
stabilization file is with the Ministry of Finance." He confirmed "Minister of Finance Faleh Sari agreed to embed contract stabilization within 2027 budget allocations, alongside addressing employment-related staff issues." Abu Al-Iss added that the Minister affirmed during parliamentary meetings the commitment
to advance this file within the budget project. He clarified that "the budget is expected to reach the parliamentary Finance Committee by October after completing its preparation, preceding discussions on its provisions and allocations within the Council of Representatives." Concurrently, MP
Ali Shadad, a Finance Committee member, confirmed that "contract stabilization will be codified within a legal text in the 2027 budget." Shadad noted, "Work proceeds to stabilize all contracts and regularize this segment into permanent staff, ensuring job stability and
protecting rights of workers who spent years in state institutions under contracts."
