claims regarding the depletion of munitions are "false," emphasizing that the U.S. military remains the "strongest fighting force on Earth." The denial followed a Reuters report which stated that the U.S. military had nearly depleted its entire inventory of long-range, high-precision
missiles during five months of war with Iran. The agency also mentioned that the United States used approximately 65% of its Patriot missile interceptors between February and July. For his part, Trump stated that the United States possesses "more munitions than
any other country in the world, and far more than it needs," noting that American defense companies are producing munitions at unprecedented levels and expanding their production facilities. Concurrently, the Pentagon requested defense industry leaders to prepare plans within 21 days
to accelerate weapon delivery schedules and increase the production of vital military capabilities, stressing that multi-year development and production cycles are no longer acceptable.
