Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed, following his return from an official visit to Turkmenistan where he participated in an exceptional environmental summit for the heads of Caspian littoral states, that regional diplomacy must effectively contribute to preventing escalation and continuously
maintaining channels of dialogue. He explained in a post published on the X platform that joint diplomatic work in the region should not be limited to formal meetings and gatherings, but rather transformed into a practical tool for crisis management,
protecting the course of dialogue, avoiding the aggravation of tensions, and pushing the prospects of joint cooperation forward.
