by the Prime Minister's Media Office, the 81st session of the UN General Assembly commenced today, Tuesday, in New York. Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi is participating in person, alongside leaders, heads of government, and representatives of member states of
the international organization. The session's agenda includes extensive discussions on prominent international and regional issues and challenges, with a focus on ways to strengthen security, stability, and peace. It also covers crucial economic, developmental, and climate files. Iraq is participating in
this prominent international event with an official delegation led by the Prime Minister. Mr. Al-Zaidi is scheduled to deliver Iraq's address to the General Assembly, where he will extensively present the country's official stances on various regional and international issues, in
addition to detailing the government's policies concerning economic and security matters, and its approaches to building and strengthening relations with sisterly and friendly nations.
