US President Donald Trump suggested on Thursday the possibility of carrying out new military operations against Tehran in the coming period. Trump indicated that executing additional strikes following the mid-term elections remains a possibility if a suitable agreement satisfying the
US side cannot be reached. He noted that the economic and living conditions in Iran are severely deteriorated, stressing Tehran's desire to conclude a settlement while he seeks a genuine and thorough resolution. Regarding the reasons behind his rejection of
the latest Iranian proposal concerning a ceasefire, he emphasized that he will not accept today what he previously rejected a full year ago. He added that the Iranian side put forward a proposal regarding the opening of the Strait of
Hormuz, parts of which he reviewed and deemed entirely insufficient. He concluded by affirming the possession of a massive weapons arsenal and an outstanding strategic position that allows for storing large quantities and distributing them to allies.
