The Prime Minister, Ali Al-Zaidi, emphasized today, Saturday, the work to protect public funds and provide job opportunities for youth.


Al-Zaidi said in a speech on the occasion of officially assuming his duties as Prime Minister: "I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Parliament for this national confidence, and we thank the leaders of the Coordination Framework and

the national political forces that contributed to the success of the government formation path."


He added that "the next phase will be a phase of true national partnership, transcending differences, and we pledge to work sincerely in facing challenges, and among our government's top priorities is launching a comprehensive economic and financial reform program

aimed at building a strong, diversified, and sustainable national economy that does not depend on a single resource."

He pointed out that "providing job opportunities for youth and reducing unemployment are at the forefront of the government's concerns, through launching productive and developmental projects, encouraging investment, and supporting the private sector to be an essential partner in building the national economy."


He added, saying: "We will work to provide a fair environment that ensures the equitable distribution of opportunities among all citizens of Iraq, away from favoritism and discrimination, and in a way that consolidates the principle of citizenship and social

justice, and we will support the education sector exceptionally, through developing curricula, rehabilitating schools and universities, supporting the educational family, and upgrading academic and scientific institutions."

He added, saying: "We will work to provide a fair environment that ensures the equitable distribution of opportunities among all citizens of Iraq, away from favoritism and discrimination, and in a way that consolidates the principle of citizenship and social justice, and we will support the education sector exceptionally, through developing curricula, rehabilitating schools and universities, supporting the educational family, and upgrading academic and scientific institutions."


He continued: "We will proceed with practical plans to improve the level of medical and health services, develop hospitals and health centers, provide treatment and medicine, and ensure the access of decent health service to every citizen in cities and rural areas alike."


He stressed that "the services and infrastructure file will not remain hostage to postponed promises, but will be a field for work and clear achievement, through strategic projects to improve electricity, water, roads, sewage, transport, and housing."


He indicated: "Your government will be a government of a state of institutions, and a government of law and justice, open to everyone, listening to the voice of the citizen, and believing that the state's strength comes from the confidence

of its people, and we will work to consolidate security and stability, protect Iraq's sovereignty, and enhance our Arab, regional, and international relations on the basis of mutual respect and common interests, in a way that preserves Iraq's status and

its historical role in the region."

He indicated: "Your government will be a government of a state of institutions, and a government of law and justice, open to everyone, listening to the voice of the citizen, and believing that the state's strength comes from the confidence of its people, and we will work to consolidate security and stability, protect Iraq's sovereignty, and enhance our Arab, regional, and international relations on the basis of mutual respect and common interests, in a way that preserves Iraq's status and its historical role in the region."

and symbols from all components of the Iraqi people," noting that "the path of reform may be difficult, but it is not impossible when intentions unite and efforts are sincere."
