Preliminary shipping data revealed that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz saw only one vessel transporting primary goods cross yesterday, Tuesday, marking its lowest level since May 7th. Initial information from Kpler, a ship-tracking firm, indicated that a single large
gas tanker entered the strait from the Gulf of Oman on Monday. This contrasts sharply with the six vessels of various types that transited the strait on the preceding Sunday. These figures are subject to change, as some ships may
deactivate their transponders while passing. These developments unfold amid military tensions between the United States and Iran and ongoing maritime restrictions. Earlier Kpler data had shown fewer than 20 commercial cargo ships traversed the Strait last weekend, with 13 vessels
on Saturday, before the number dropped to just four ships on Sunday.
