The Sulaymaniyah Criminal Court issued on Thursday prison sentences against the leader of the Popular Front Party Lahour Sheikh Jangi and his brother, against the backdrop of the events related to the Lalezar Hotel. A statement from the court clarified
that it imposed a prison sentence of five years and three months on Lahour Sheikh Jangi as a result of that case. The statement added that the eighth session of the court also witnessed the issuance of a prison sentence
of three years and six months against his brother Polad Sheikh Jangi, in addition to sentencing the defendant Rebwar Hamid Haji Ghalib to two years in prison.
