resume trade, noting Tehran is currently incurring significant losses. The President added that while Iran seeks an agreement and he personally favors deals, the current offer is unacceptable. He affirmed Washington is achieving a "great victory" and maintains complete control
over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump highlighted that vast quantities of oil transit the strait, with 29 vessels crossing it just last night. He explained that Iran faces substantial financial losses due to a lack of revenue, as its primary
income relies on the strait. Trump emphasized that Iran placed itself in a predicament by closing the Strait of Hormuz, leading the United States to impose the "biggest blockade in military history" and a "steel wall" around the strait, which
has consequently depleted Iran's funds.
