The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim Al-Araji, affirmed that citizens have a legally guaranteed right to obtain their identification documents, emphasizing the necessity of facilitating the procedures and preventing unjustified delays. Al-Araji stated in a post on the
platform "X" that this directive aligns with the instructions of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Iraqi government, aiming to complete citizens' transactions according to the approved legal framework. He highlighted that simplifying these procedures helps preserve citizens' dignity and
reduce their burdens, as well as strengthen trust in state institutions and uphold the rule of law.
