The Secretary-General of Kataib Hezbollah, Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi, announced on Wednesday the conclusion of a round of war with a "decisive victory," though emphasizing the conflict has not ended and future rounds await. This statement was issued on the advent
of the holy month of Muharram. Al-Hamidawi began his address with the Quranic verses: (O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back to disbelief after your belief
* And how could you disbelieve while unto you are recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has been guided to a straight path * O you who have believed,
fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims). The Secretary-General highlighted that Muharram embodies sorrow and heroism, portraying the struggle of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his family and companions in the Battle
of Karbala, which affirmed that "sacrificing oneself is the ultimate generosity." He stressed these great sacrifices remain a beacon for free people globally, teaching humanity that life without dignity is worthless, and that steadfastness against tyrants is a divine duty,
non-negotiable despite any sacrifices. Al-Hamidawi added, regarding the continuity of this Husseini approach: "We conclude another round of war, emerging with a decisive victory, yet fully realizing the battle is not over; more dangerous and fierce rounds and stages lie ahead."
Consequently, he urged "high alert for any emergency, holding onto our weapons, with our hands on the trigger." He warned against trusting enemies, whom he termed "human beasts," considering "ignoring their deceit sheer foolishness." He continued, "The equation is clear: they
will not be pleased with us, and we will not accept their injustice," citing what he considered assassinations of figures like "our Imam Khamenei" and "the righteous servant, the firmest handhold of the mujahideen, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah." He also mentioned
the assassination of scholars and the killing of tens of thousands of elders, youth, women, and children in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Syria, and Iraq by their "criminal apparatus." Al-Hamidawi rhetorically asked: "What page can be turned? What crime forgotten? What
criminal forgiven?! May Allah not forgive those who forgive them." He asserted that "our fight against falsehood is continuous, in zero-sum battles that will topple heads and delete nations, from which a new world will be drawn." He specified this
world as one where "justice and dignity prevail and the thrones of tyrants are shattered," emphasizing, "It is a battle of truth against falsehood, unending until the Hour." He specifically threatened "those who stood with the pigs and sons of apes,"
urging them to await "Allah's command and judgment upon them," and denying the "trick of (the new page)" would deceive them, citing the verse: (They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and
perceive [it] not). Al-Hamidawi concluded by expressing pride, appreciation, and gratitude to the "makers of victory and builders of glory," extending thanks to: "Hezbollah, the gem in the crown of Islamic Resistance and the symbol of its defiance," "the courageous Iranian
Armed Forces," "the men of Yemen, people of sincerity and loyalty," and "all sons of the Islamic Resistance in Palestine, Iraq, Bahrain, and the land of Hijaz generally, and especially the people of Shaam." He also thanked "the Mujahideen of Clarification
who performed well in the battle of truth," and "all free individuals among politicians, zealous tribal leaders, and sincere religious scholars," and "the peoples of our Islamic nation who supported the just causes of the nation, embodying the highest meanings
of solidarity and unity in this decisive stage." Finally, Al-Hamidawi conveyed "immense gratitude and reverence to our great, esteemed religious authorities, who took a historical, honorable, courageous, and unequivocal stance," wishing them "May Allah whiten their faces in this world and
the hereafter as they whitened the faces of the nation, and may Allah reward them with the best reward for Islam and its people," quoting the Quranic verse: ﴿Peace - a word from a Merciful Lord.﴾. The statement from the Secretary-General
of Kataib Hezbollah was dated June 17, 2026 AD, corresponding to Muharram 1, 1448 AH.
