Egyptian actress Dalia Ibrahim revealed that she was married to director Khaled Youssef in 2009, before filming the movie "Talk to Me, Thanks," in which she starred alongside Amr Abdel Gelil and Ghada Abdel Razek. She explained that the marriage
lasted about a year before ending in divorce. In press statements, Dalia Ibrahim indicated that these events took place nearly 15 years ago, confirming that her marriage to Khaled Youssef lasted approximately one year before they separated. Regarding her decision
to retire and wear the hijab, she denied any influence from actress Hanan Turk on this decision, emphasizing that it was purely a personal conviction and that she has no intention of returning to acting. During a television interview, she
stated that she has not had contact with Hanan Turk for many years and has not met her for about 20 years. Dalia Ibrahim also revealed that she contemplated wearing the hijab several times before making the decision, first considering
it in 2002, then again in 2008, gradually changing her style of dress until she adopted the hijab. She affirmed that wearing the hijab gave her a greater sense of comfort in her daily life, noting that many actors and
actresses have distanced themselves from the artistic scene after making this choice, but each person has their own circumstances and decisions. Dalia Ibrahim is known as a prominent Egyptian actress in television drama, theater, and cinema, especially during the 1990s
and early 2000s. She gained recognition through works such as the series "Aila Wanis" with Mohamed Sobhi, "Al-Layl wa Akhiruh" with Yehia El-Fakharany, and the film "Talk to Me, Thanks" directed by Khaled Youssef. She announced her retirement from acting
in June 2020 after a career that included about 40 TV series, 7 plays, 5 short films, and 3 feature films, in addition to dubbing work. In a 2022 television interview, she clarified that her initial departure was not a
definitive retirement and attributed her absence from the screen to a lack of work opportunities and the role of production makers in that.
