The Federal Ministry of Finance issued a decision today, Monday, approving the funding of salaries for employees and retirees in the Kurdistan Region for the month of October, with an amount ranging between 839 and 840 billion Iraqi dinars, preparing
for its transfer to the financial and economic ministry's bank account in the region. The federal finance minister signed the approval letter for disbursing the financial dues, and the funding letter was referred to the accounting department to complete the
necessary administrative and banking procedures. The amount is scheduled to be deposited into the region's finance ministry bank account at the Central Bank of Iraq branch in Erbil, once the remaining transactions are finalized. This step follows the submission by
the regional government, on October 21, of the payroll lists for October employees accompanied by the trial balance report for September, to subject them to financial and accounting auditing processes in accordance with the joint agreements between Baghdad and the
region.
