Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated on Tuesday that the US response to Tehran's demands was unconvincing, emphasizing that Washington must fully comply with the seven conditions set by Iran before reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Rezaei explained on the platform "X" that the United States must explicitly and completely fulfill these conditions, noting that the strait will only be reopened once this is achieved. These remarks come amid joint efforts to reach an agreement to
resume negotiations and reopen the strait. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei, speaking at the national conference "Alarm Bell, from Iran to Palestine," stated that Iran does not fear diplomacy and views negotiations as a means to achieve national
interests and prevent worsening insecurity in the region. Baqaei pointed out that the United States bombed Iran twice during negotiations within less than a year and violated its commitments weeks after the Islamabad understanding, leading Tehran to engage in any
diplomatic process with utmost caution and complete pessimism.
