Baghaei emphasized the enduring resistance of the Iranian people to pressures. Baghaei's comments, posted on
"X," marked the anniversary of Rais Ali Delvari's martyrdom and the National Day of Resistance against British Colonialism on September 3rd. He described Delvari as a symbol of resistance who confronted the British army over a century ago in Iran's
southern coastal regions and was killed, though the resistance continued vigorously. Addressing Bessent, Baghaei noted the Secretary attempted to explain his perception of Iran by referencing childhood recollections of his South Carolina backyard and snake killing. Baghaei stated that "Bessent's problem
lies in confusing Iran's deep history, civilization, and rich culture with the limited space of his childhood backyard." He also recounted that a century ago, Britain, with full force and cruelty, attacked Bushehr and Tangestan, resulting in Rais Ali Delvari's death.
However, the resistance subsequently grew even stronger.
