Iraq has concluded 48 agreements, memoranda of understanding, and extensive economic partnerships with American companies operating across its oil, industrial, technological, and financial sectors. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office indicated that the Prime Minister oversaw the signing ceremony

on Friday evening, Baghdad time, for these 48 agreements, which include memoranda of understanding, cooperation protocols, and partnership declarations between various public and private sectors in both countries. This new framework aims to establish a clear path for economic and

financial cooperation, elevating bilateral relations to an advanced level of exchange that serves the mutual interests of both parties. The agreements and MoUs encompassed cooperation and partnership between the Ministries of Oil and Electricity and their affiliated companies, alongside other governmental

sectors, with prominent American entities including ExxonMobil, KBR, GE Vernova, Shell, and Halliburton. The signed pacts also featured an agreement to introduce Starlink service into Iraq in collaboration with the Communications and Media Commission, and another agreement with Halliburton. Furthermore, the

signed agreements included a memorandum of understanding between KizaLight Technology and the Iraqi private sector, and another with PepsiCo. Some agreements addressed the extension of oil pipelines to the Banyas port on the Mediterranean Sea, in addition to educational partnership

agreements, and others between the private sector in the fields of pharmaceutical supply and manufacturing. Details highlighted that additional agreements and MoUs were also concluded with KBR and UOP companies, Polaris, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and PPTA, a leader

in electronic networks. This also included two agreements with Frito Lay for agricultural sector development, and partnerships with companies specializing in agricultural, commercial, and industrial fields.
