Iraq's Oil Minister, Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi, affirmed during his visit to Saudi Arabia that his country is keen on strengthening relations and joint cooperation in various fields with its regional surroundings, particularly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There, Al-Abadi
met with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Finance Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jadaan. The two sides discussed bilateral relations and explored prospects for joint cooperation in gas, energy, and electricity sectors. The meeting emphasized enhancing relations, high-level coordination,
and opening avenues for joint cooperation in gas, energy, and electricity, thereby serving the mutual interests of both brotherly nations and their peoples.
