The Iranian "Fars" news agency reported today, Wednesday, that US President Donald Trump may unilaterally declare the success of the talks.
The agency quoted a member of the Iranian negotiating team as saying: "The US President may announce within the coming hours, and in a unilateral manner, the completion of the agreement between Iran and America," emphasizing that "there are issues that remain outstanding".
He continued: "Trump's unilateral announcement of completing the agreement aims to exert pressure on public opinion before fully settling the differences".
He added: "There will be no agreement unless all subjects taken into consideration by Iran are settled".
He pointed out that "Iran will officially announce the result in the event of completely lifting and settling these issues".
