Parliamentarians have begun collecting over sixty signatures, preparing for a second session to host the Minister of Oil. This move aims to address issues where the minister's previous responses did not satisfy a sufficient number of members. MP Ahmed Al-Khazali stated
in an official newspaper interview that Parliament found the Minister of Oil's prior explanations unconvincing. He clarified that this led MPs to gather signatures for his re-hosting, with the total now exceeding sixty and collection ongoing. Al-Khazali added that the session's
goal is to ask direct questions and obtain clear answers on the discussed matters. He noted that the deliberations' results will determine these issues' future course, including whether additional measures are necessary.
