Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked, on Monday, the Supreme Religious Authority Sayyid Sistani for supporting those affected, while praising the solidarity of the Iraqi people. Pezeshkian said in a post: "I offer my highest thanks for the generous support shown
by His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and those affected by the recent aggression." He added: "We value the solidarity of the brotherly Iraqi people," noting that "the Marja'iya has always remained an impregnable
fortress and a firm support for the oppressed."
