Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received an official invitation to visit the Arab Republic of Egypt today, Thursday. This came during Al-Zaidi's reception of the Egyptian President's envoy, the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Hassan Mahmoud Rashad. Rashad
conveyed a message from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in which he praised the depth of strategic relations between the two countries and affirmed his constant readiness to support efforts to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples in
all fields. The message included an official invitation for the Prime Minister to visit Egypt, stemming from the shared keenness to enhance the path of bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Egypt, preserve the interests of both nations, and bolster regional
and international peace and stability. The meeting also witnessed discussions on several issues and files of mutual interest, with an emphasis on the importance of coordinating positions and exchanging information and expertise, in a way that strengthens common bilateral interests
and serves the well-being of the two brotherly peoples.
