A Turkish court has ordered the arrest of writer Bayram Özbek, one of the authors of the popular series "Valley of the Wolves," in ongoing investigations into the mysterious 2011 death of a security officer. This action follows a striking
similarity between events aired in the series just two days before security officer Kaşif Kuzgunoğlu's death in an Istanbul prison that year. Initial investigations had concluded his death was natural, before the case was reopened based on new evidence. The investigations
linked the "Valley of the Wolves" team to the incident. The series depicted a security officer's demise under mysterious circumstances, with the victim's character named "Kaşif Oğlu," a very similar name. Later scenes showed this character's death initially appearing natural,
but it was subsequently revealed as murder by air injection into the arm. The court summoned other writers of the ten-part series and the actor who portrayed "Kaşif Oğlu." However, the arrest warrant targeted Özbek, as the court believes he co-authored
the segment containing these events. Özbek faces charges of "establishing or leading an armed terrorist organization and incitement to premeditated murder," based on the attributed screenplay. The case remains in its early stages; recent arrests include other individuals close to Kuzgunoğlu,
who was accused in another security case. His grave was also opened, and samples extracted for examination as part of the comprehensive investigation. First aired in 2003, "Valley of the Wolves" revolves around the world of intelligence and international gangs, achieving
