The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, will head next week to Baghdad at the head of a high-level delegation to hold a series of discussions with the federal government regarding the electricity and oil files.
The deputy director of the Prime Minister's Office, Aziz Ahmad, stated in a post on the "X" platform that the regional government will present during the visit the experience it described as successful of the (Ronaki - Electricity) project aimed
at providing electrical energy 24 hours a day, stressing that the delegation will provide technical support to the new Iraqi government to accelerate the pace of reforms in the electricity sector across the country.
He added that "the Prime Minister will address during the visit the file of security guarantees necessary to enable oil and gas companies to resume production and export operations, noting that the continuation of drone threats makes it difficult for companies to continue their work."
