Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, on Sunday, during his reception of a National Statement Bloc delegation led by MP Abdul Amir al-Mayahi, stressed the importance of national forces uniting and avoiding escalation and disputes threatening political
stability. Discussions covered the latest political scene developments. The meeting addressed key political files, including upcoming entitlements and ways to enhance understanding among national forces to unify visions and positions, supporting the political process's stability. Both sides also discussed state security, restricting
weapons to official institutions, and strengthening the rule of law. They explored economic and financial challenges, emphasizing the need for solutions to support the national economy, improve services, and meet citizen demands. Al-Maliki and Al-Mayahi, according to a statement from Al-Maliki's
office, affirmed the importance of sustained dialogue and coordination among political forces in the Council of Representatives, prioritizing national interest, and resolving outstanding issues responsibly. They underscored this as crucial for preserving Iraq's unity, stability, and its institutions' capacity to
