Prices for Basra Heavy and Medium crude oils witnessed overall weekly losses, despite their notable increase during the final trading sessions. Basra Heavy crude rose in the last session by $2.16 per barrel, closing at $54.79, yet it concluded the
week with a net loss of $1.42 per barrel compared to its opening level. Similarly, Basra Medium crude climbed by $2.16 in the final session to close at $57.09 per barrel, but it registered an identical weekly loss of $1.42
compared to the start of the week.
