Food and Agriculture Organization reported that global food prices increased in March, reaching their highest level since late last year.
The index rose to 128.5 points, up 2.4% from February.
In a separate report, the organization projected global grain production to reach 3.036 billion tons in 2025, up 5.8% year-on-year.
This reflects ongoing volatility in global food markets.
