KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has denounced attempts to destabilize the region through aerial and missile attacks that persisted despite ceasefire negotiations. In an official statement, Barzani noted that recent strikes targeted both civilians and economic resources, calling for a
firm international stance to provide advanced defensive systems to the region.
The statement emphasized that protecting energy infrastructure is a top priority against current threats. Barzani also highlighted the Federal Government's sovereign duty to safeguard the region's airspace and borders, asserting that mere condemnations are insufficient to stop agendas aimed at inflicting further harm on the Kurdistan Region and its people.
