Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian affirmed Monday, during his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, that continued war benefits neither Iran nor the region, emphasizing his nation's ongoing pursuit of an agreement. Pezeshkian criticized Washington's choice of war, insecurity, and imposing
will by force, over diplomacy. He stressed Iran never welcomes war, and their responsibility is to shield the people from danger, fostering peace, stability, and security. He clarified Iran upheld its commitments under the memorandum of understanding, but the American
side regrettably failed to meet its obligations. The Iranian President highlighted that certain US factions see their interests in prolonged conflict and confrontations, urging the reinforcement of peace-supporting wills. Lastly, he reaffirmed his country's readiness to expand cooperation with India,
despite pressures and restrictions on Iran's international ties.
