Jordan's Interior Minister Mazen Faraya announced on Monday that investigations have not revealed any links between the perpetrators of the Karak church attack and other cells, confirming that the attackers belong to the same family, including two brothers. During a
press conference in Amman, Faraya stated that security forces have arrested the suspects. General Security Director Obeid Allah Al-Maaytah reported that three individuals were apprehended following an armed clash, along with the seizure of weapons and a large quantity of
ammunition. Al-Maaytah explained that the security operation followed three days of sweeping actions, culminating in a raid on a suspicious building and the arrest of the suspects, who were injured during the confrontation and taken to the hospital. Faraya emphasized
that investigations are ongoing to uncover all details of the crime and hold accountable anyone involved, reaffirming the state's commitment to continuing its efforts against extremism and terrorism.
