Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said, today Thursday, that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit Washington tomorrow Friday where he will meet his American counterpart Marco Rubio, as the visit comes at a time when Islamabad is attempting to negotiate an agreement to permanently end the US and Israeli war with Iran.
The ministry said in a statement that Dar will meet with Rubio to review bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.
Iranian state television had said it possesses the preliminary draft of the informal framework for a memorandum of understanding with the United States, indicating that the United States would lift the naval blockade and withdraw its forces, while Iran pledged
to resume the passage of a number of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
In response, the White House said Wednesday that the report broadcast by Iranian state television citing a preliminary and informal draft framework for a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States is inaccurate, and that the referenced memorandum is entirely different.
