Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed during statements made on Friday that the continuation of US blockade and sanctions policies will inevitably lead to further complications in the situation. The Iranian President explained that the imposed punitive measures go beyond ordinary
humanitarian standards, pointing out that the attacks witnessed in recent months were unacceptable and lacked any moral or humanitarian justification. He continued to clarify that these sanctions have created severe challenges affecting his country and countries around the world. In
a related context, Pezeshkian denied the validity of accusations directed against his country, affirming that Tehran never seeks to develop nuclear weapons and that the directed media campaigns against it are based entirely on lies. He confirmed permanent openness to
the language of dialogue, while emphasizing at the same time the rejection of policies of subjugation and force, indicating that dealing with the logic of reason and dialogue remains the best option for Washington instead of resorting to methods of
pressure and coercion.
