Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi embarked today, Tuesday, on an official visit to the Turkish capital, Ankara, leading a high-level government delegation. His media office confirmed in a statement that the visit agenda includes meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
and senior Turkish officials. The discussions aim to bolster bilateral cooperation, particularly across economic, water, security, and investment sectors, between the two neighboring nations. Furthermore, the visit will address regional issues of mutual concern and delve into mechanisms for executing existing
bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding. Emphasis will also be placed on overseeing and advancing joint infrastructure projects, serving the reciprocal interests of both countries.
